Speaking to reporters here in Bangalore, G R Shivashankar, President, TUCC, said that labour officers demand money from the poor employees who seek to withdraw money in advance. “They demand ten per cent of the sum as bribe,” he alleged. He said the Centre will also demand to fix a minimum pension of Rs 5,000 for retired workers.
