Traffic menace seems to be the biggest issue for the residents of Sarvagnanagar constituency, who poured out their woes to their MLA, K J George, at the Janaspandana event organised by the BBMP on Saturday.

Residents had a chance to interact directly with George, who is also the minister for heavy industries, IT BT, science and technology, along with officials of the area.

Most of the residents spoke about the growing traffic menace in the constituency with no strict regulation, making it difficult for the elderly and children to walk on the roads. Besides potholes and roads dug up for laying utilities, dried up borewells is another major issue. The people asked the MLA to sink more borewells to meet the water requirement of many residents who are dependent on groundwater.

Garbage and street lights were some of the other issues the residents wanted BBMP officials to address. Many residents also came to seek the MLA's help for their pensions, and students came for their scholarships.
