The train with 18 bogies was stopped at Ahmednagar in Maharashtra yesterday and sent back to Bangalore by authorities. It arrived at the Yeshvanthpur Railway station at 4.45 pm.Condemning the action, the BJP activists asserted that nothing would deter them from hoisting the national tricolour at Lal Chowk on January 26.

"So what if we have been forced to return back, our designated people are already there and will hoist the national flag at Lal Chowk," one of the activists said.
