A miscreant made away with Rs five lakh in cash kept in the utility box of a bike on Kothanur Dinne Main Road under Hulimavu police limits on Friday afternoon.
According to police, Lohith, a resident of Nayandhalli, owns a bakery and also works as a milk agent, had withdrawn Rs five lakh from a bank and kept the money in the utility box of his bike. He had got off the bike and was speaking on his cell phone to attend a call, a little distance away.
On returning, he found the utility box broken and the cash missing. Hulivamu police have registered a complaint.
