Ashwa Racing, the race car team of the RV College of Engineering (RVCE), has built a prototype of a hybrid race car with which it will be participating in an international car design competition in the US this year.
The car has been designed by third year students of RVCE. It represents the best features of internal combustion engines and electric motors.
Ashwa Racing has been competing in various platforms such as the Formula Student (FA) in Italy and other competitions, for a number of years now. The team spent more than two years in building the hybrid car.
