Members of the Associated Managements of Primary and Secondary Schools in Karnataka staged a protest in the city on Friday against Right to Education (RTE) parents for not paying the fees towards various school expenses.

The Association said that the schools will be financially burdened if the parents do not pay the prescribed fees even after repeated requests.

Under such a situation, the schools will be forced to remove such students and such action should not be violation of any rules.

It said that continuing education in the same school without paying the fee by taking shelter under RTE rules was not acceptable.

The members submitted a memorandum to Primary and Secondary Education Minister Tanveer Sait.
