Sex racket busted, man arrested

The Central Crime Branch police have claimed to have busted a sex racket by arresting a man on Thursday.

The suspect was identified as Yeshwanth Gangegowda, 20, a resident of KR Pet in Mandya district. 

On a tip-off, the police raided a house in Bhoopasandra Main Road, Sanjayanagar, arrested the suspect and rescued a woman from Bangladesh. Two others, Raju and Sagar, managed to escape, added the police.

Sagar had taken the house on rent, while Gangegowda and Raju were pimps.
Sagar had allegedly forced a few girls from Bangladesh into prostitution, added the police.
