A series of burglaries were reported from seven shops in a row on Kumbar Street, KR Puram, late Wednesday night.
According to police, valuables and cash totalling to Rs two lakh was stolen from the shops selling plastic items. Cash stashed in the cash boxes from two shops – Mataji Traders and Balaji Traders - ration and plastic items in the adjoining Venkateshwara Traders, Naidu Traders and Pallavi Traders - were stolen.
