Accordingly, director Yogish Hunsur began his speech by defending his decision to direct a remake. “I have returned to direction after a long time and so took up a remake. Heroine Sanchita though preferred the melodious hejje gurutu song. Producers Uday Mehta and Mohan G Naik’s ear-to-ear smiles were proof enough that they were satisfied with the product.
