The government had issued an order on October 28 transferring him from Health department to Food and Civil Supplies department with immediate effect. But he did not report to his new posting as per the order. Instead, he reported on November 12.
Incidentally, the government has again transferred him as Commissioner of Sericulture Development and Director of Sericulture on Friday.
When contacted, he said he was on leave. Hence he could not take charge. A detailed report will be given to the government in this regard, he added.
