Siddaganga seer Shivakumar Swami (111) has been admitted to BGS Gleneagles Global Hospital in Kengeri after complained of fever last night. He arrived at the hospital on Saturday evening from Tumakuru.

Dr B S Ravindra, a gastroenterologist at the hospital, said that initial blood reports of the seer are showing some infection and further reports are awaited. The seer also underwent an ultrasound and CT scan of the abdomen. “He could probably have a gallbladder or the liver tube infection. We are ascertaining it. We have started the antibiotic dosage as of now,” he added.

Dr Ravindra said that already nine stents have been implanted in his liver tube as he has issues with his pancreas and his liver tube is blocked.
