On Thursday, the Bangalore City Police Commissioner praised the team and handed over the stolen properties to their owners.During the year-end, properties worth Rs 13 crore were recovered, with the division touching the Rs 31-crore mark in two years.

Malayalam and Tamil film actresses Anita Peter and Chandra were the cynosure of all eyes at the property parade. The artistes who live in a plush apartment had lost gold jewellery worth around Rs 6 lakh.
HAL police acted swiftly and arrested their maid and recovered the property. The actresses said: “Initially, we were scared to meet the men in khaki or enter a police station. But now, after this episode and interacting with the cops, I can boldly confess that it was a wrong notion. Policing is a great profession.”
