 Two SSLC students committed suicide in separate incidents on Monday after they reportedly failed the examinations.

Jahnavi of MVM High School in Keelara village hanged herself at her home in Aalakere village in Mandya taluk.

It is said that she took the extreme step after checking her results on the Internet on Monday afternoon and found she had failed the examination.

Thejaswini, 16, a student at Gangothri Vidya School in Mysuru, ended her life dejected over her poor performance in the SSLC examination.

She committed suicide when she was alone at her house in Shindenahalli, H D Kote taluk.
