The initial medical report has confirmed that the LKG student, studying in St Sophia’s Convent, Nagarabhavi, was sexually abused by the school bus cleaner, Sabu (24), police sources said.
Senior police officials said that the report suggested that there was no penetration, but the girl was sexually abused.
A senior doctor with the Vani Vilas Hospital, where the girl was subjected to medical examination, told Deccan Herald that they had given the report to the police, but declined to comment further. He said the hospital had sent the vaginal swabs of the girl for examination to the Forensic laboratory.
Sabu was produced before the IX ACMM court on Wednesday and was remanded in police custody for three days. Police sources said that Sabu had confessed to have sexually abused the child.
