Officers continued to question Payal’s friends and associates to dig out more information. There are vital clues and the team is quite hopeful of arresting the suspect, said DCP (South) Sonia Narang.
The police have also analysed telephone call details of Payal. They are also baffled about the lack of signs of resistance to her attackers.
Payal was found brutally murdered at her apartment at Ramana Babu Apartment on Friday evening.
The murder took place a day after her husband Ananth Narayan Mishra, a gym instructor, left for Odisha.
