It was initially started by N Yousuf in Frazer Town and after a few months, opened in Jayanagar as well.

It is now managed by Kiran Kumar. “Initially, we started this joint with the idea of selling lassi but due to great demand, we extended the menu and started providing desserts as well,” says Kiran. We are planning to open branches in other parts of the City,” he adds.
The speciality of this place is that the juice is made right before you sans preservatives.
Although this place doesn’t boast of a great ambience and has minimal seating arrangement, people are seen relishing desserts and juices here. This joint is also known for its different flavours of lassi. These include sweet, khara, pudina, jeera, mango, papaya, black current, chocolate, strawberry, kiwi, kesar and dry fruit lassi.

The menu card shows a long list of juices, milk shakes, sizzlers, ice-creams, falooda, cold coffee, fruit salads and kulfi as well. The dry fruit milkshake and the special butter fruit juice and milkshake are the most preferred ones.

The ice-creams list boasts of Scottish Chocolate, Dry Fruit Sundaes, Mango Fudge, Roasted Almond, Lychee Salad, Spanish Modelo, Mango Punch, Strawberry Passion, Green Vanilla and many more. The Falooda also has a variety, Falooda Ice-cream, Falooda Double, Falooda Kulfi and Royal Falooda.

This joint is flooded with parched souls in summer and winter alike. The rates are also reasonable and the service is quick. This place is also frequented by cine artistes like Apurva Kasarvalli, Duniya Vijay and Chiranjeevi Sarja. Recently, Kichha Sudeep visited the place,” says Kiran.

The regulars swear by the quality and the standard of hygiene maintained here. Sharada, an engineering students, says, “Whenever, I come to Jayanagar, I never miss coming to The Lassi Park. It is a very cool and nice hangout. I like the dry fruit lassi and falooda here. The prices are also very reasonable.”

Her friend Tripti also admits that the service is quick. “There are so many varieties here that I always find it difficult to choose something, and so I try new items every time I am here,” she says. The Lassi Park is open from 11 am to 11 pm on all days.
