A 30-year-old techie was killed in an accident on ITPL Road near Whitefield in the early hours on Thursday.
The deceased, Mansoor Ahmed, a native of Mysuru and a resident of Whitefield, worked for a software company. The accident occurred at 4.45 am when Mansoor was returning home on his KTM Duke bike. Mansoor was overspeeding and failed to notice a trailer and crashed into it.
He sustained severe injuries and died on the spot. The Whitefield traffic police shifted the body for post mortem and seized the vehicle. Police have launched a search to trace the driver of the trailer.
