Bengaluru: A technical glitch observed at Whitefield (Kadugodi) metro station early on Friday morning led to the disruption of metro services from that station on the Purple Line.
Normalcy returned only at 9:55 am, when train connectivity from the last station on the Purple Line was restored.
According to the Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL), trains were being operated only between Hopefarm Channasandra and Challaghatta stations from 5 am on Friday. As a temporary measure, no trains were operated from the Whitefield (Kadugodi) station.
BMRCL said that normal services were restored only at 9:55 am. Meanwhile, services on the Green Line were unaffected.
