A teenaged boy, who allegedly sexually assaulted a nine-year-old girl, was arrested by city police here today.
"We have arrested a boy who is 13 years plus for sexually assaulting the minor girl," ACP Law and Order Kamal Pant told PTI here.
Police will seek medical assessment of the arrested boy, he said.
The girl was sexually assaulted while she was returning from school near Begur in Electronics City police station limits on January 5.
The incident came to light when the girl informed her aunt after returning home.
