According to the Madivala police, the complainant Bilia had left for Mysore on Sept 4 morning along with his wife.
“He was back in the City next day afternoon. Though he found the door lock intact, his Indian made revolver and two gold chains kept in his bed room draw were missing. The miscreants managed to enter the house by removing the window pane at the back side. Investigation is on,” the police said.
