Three arrested for hatching murder plot

Central Crime Branch (CCB) sleuths have arrested three persons on the charge of planning to kill Nayaz and Qadir, brothers of former corporator Diwan Ali, who was murdered in 2011.

Akram Pasha, 38, Javed, 34, and Sheikh Javed, 27, aides of Mahim, prime accused in the Diwan Ali murder case, are the arrested.

They were arrested on November 6. Akram Pasha has one attempt to murder case against him in the Wilson Garden police station, Javed and Sheikh Javed have cases of dacoity against them in the Kumaraswamy police station and the Banashankari police station respectively.

Man held

The Central Crime Branch (CCB) has arrested Deepak Magar, 46, for allegedly using proprietary software belonging to Adobe Systems without a
licence for commercial purposes.

The suspect had made copies of Adobe’s softwares used for photo editing, designing et al, and used the same commercially, without any permission from the company.

About 11 hardware devices containing four such softwares, valued at Rs 11 crore, was seized from him. A case has been registered with the Subramanyapura police
station.
