The message that WALS intends to spread to men across the country is that till men don’t shave, women will not co-operate with them and if men don’t shave, they shouldn’t expect women to groom themselves either.  Minissha Lamba strongly agrees with the group’s sentiment. Emphasising the importance of a well-groomed man, the actress says, “If men can’t spend a mere five minutes to shave, then will they do anything else? There are no more excuses for men’s lazy behaviour.”

Neha Dhupia says, “If women can spend hours in an effort to look good, then why can’t men spend a mere 5 minutes of their time to look civilised and groomed?” Mugdha Godse agrees, “Men expect us to look our best, when they are entertaining clients and when we go out for dinners. But they don’t really care much about their dishevelled looks. We are here to tell them that we care. If they don’t do it, then we won’t either.”
