Bengaluru: The Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP) has collected over Rs 7.98 lakh in a special drive against traffic violators on Monday.
The BTP registered 366 cases of driving against one way or in the no-entry zone and collected Rs 1.83 lakh.
However, the highest collection was for 'other cases', which included violations like footpath parking or no-entry driving. A total of 960 cases were registered and a fine of Rs 4.84 lakh was collected.
The BTP also collected a fine of Rs 96,500 in 160 cases of wrongful parking. A total 1,540 violations were registered.
