Traffic restrictions will be in place in and around Shivajinagar from 2 pm to 10 pm on Thursday for the annual St Mary’s feast.
The entry of vehicles will be banned from Jyothi Café circle on Meenakshi Koil Street to Russel Market and vice versa; from Broadway Road’s junction with Cockburn Road towards Russel Market and vice versa; from Dharmaraja Koil Street’s junction with Old Poor House Road towards Russel Market Taj Hotel circle; from BRV junction on Cubbon Road towards Shivajinagar Bus Stand; from south to north, including for BMTC buses; from Balekundry circle towards Shivajinagar Bus Stand; from west to east, including for BMTC buses.
Parking will be banned in areas surrounding Rusell Market, Broadway Road, Meenakshi Koil Street, Central Street, Shivaji Road, Cunningham Road (between Balekundry Circle and Chandrika Hotel junction), Union Street, Infantry Road, Cubbon Road, Hospital Road, Lady Curzon Road, VSN Road, Plain Street, MG Road and Brigade Road.
Parking will be available at Kamaraj Road parking lot, opposite Army School, Main Guard Cross Road, opposite Safina Plaza, Cubbon Park, Kings Road, Jasma Bhavan Road, RBANMS ground (Gangadhar Chetty Road) and Muslim Orphanage on Dickenson Road.
