The city police will enforce the following traffic and parking curbs on Friday to ensure smooth movement of vehicles towards city railway station and Kempegowda bus terminal. The police anticipate heavy rush on these routes in the wake of holiday season.
Parking of private vehicles is banned on Dhanvanthri Road, Railway Station Road, Tank Bund Road, Platform Road and Khoday’s junction. Buses towards Mysuru, Kodagu and Kerala will start from Mysuru Road Bus Terminal. Buses towards Tamil Nadu will start from Shanthinagar Bus Terminal while those towards Davangere will leave from Chikka Lalbagh Bus Terminal. Road users should avoid KG Road, Goods Shed Road, Sheshadri Road, SC Road, Platform Road and Krishna Flour Mill Road between 4 pm and 11 pm.
