According to the complaint filed by the parents of the deceased, Smitha R Kinnal, was harassed for dowry. The police said Smitha was married to Srikanth Sajjan, an Ayurvedic doctor and lecturer in the City. They were married for seven years and have four children.
On Monday noon, Smitha hung herself from the ceiling and the incident came to light when her husband came home that evening. Two children were at home and the other two were at school, said the police.
