This year, the festival will be spread across two venues: Seonee and Malgudi. Seonee takes its name from the hills where Mowgli was reared, while Malgudi is named after the town from R K Narayan’s Swami and Friends.

Beyond wide-ranging discussions, attendees can enjoy Carnatic and Hindustani music performances, fun activities for children, and much more. Additionally, the festival will feature Atta Galatta, a literary prize; ScreenLit, a forum for aspiring screenwriters; and LitMart, a platform where aspiring authors can pitch their book ideas to literary agents, commissioning editors, and publishers.

Since its inception in 2012 as a non-profit trust, the Bangalore Literature Festival has hosted 10 successful editions, drawing over 1,500 authors and speakers from India and around the world.
