The police are on the lookout for two employees of a Mumbai-based cash management firm in the city for reportedly stealing Rs 21.5 lakh, meant to refill ATMs.

Rampeesa Ranjith and his colleague Nandan A, incharge of handling ATMs with the Writer Safeguard Private Limited, are the suspects.

According to the police, they were asked to replenish cash at ATMs on the way to Tumakuru. The missing cash came to light on April 11 when the company conducted an audit. A detailed probe showed the involvement of Ranjith and Nandan as they had also stopped coming to work.
