The University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS) will host its 49th annual convocation on Saturday.
During the event, 575 undregraduate students and 122 postgraduate students including those from MSc and PhD will be conferred with the degrees.
This year, the Bharat Ratna Prof C N R Rao will be the chief guest while Governor Vajubhai Vala will present the degrees to the students.
As many as 119 gold medals will also be awarded to 42 students including 21 girls and 21 boys. Of the total 119 gold medals, 21 boys will get 51 gold medals while an equal number of girls will receive 61 gold medals.
