Burglars decamped with gold ornaments, goods and cash worth Rs 15 lakh from a house at Mallathahalli on Sunday morning. Police said Ramesh R (41), resident of Mallthalli, was away at a relative’s house in Maddur, when house was robbed.
Anil Kumar, a neighbour, on noticing the front door of Ramesh’s house broken open, informed the local police station. The thieves had made away with 591 gram of jewelery, a digital camera and Rs 30,000 in cash, all totaling Rs 15 lakh. Jnanabharathi police have registered a case.
