Areas like J P Nagar, Jayanagar, Yediyur, BTM Layout and Basavangudi are generally free from the acute water shortage that affects other areas of the City. “Complaints have been pouring in from the areas during the last two days,” said a BWSSB official. The Board had resorted to rationing of supply of water in South Bangalore so that all areas have an equal distribution of water.
