A 53-year-old woman was knocked down by an autorickshaw at Vivekananda Road near Halasuru on Monday.
She was admitted to Bowring hospital and died on Tuesday morning. Police said the victim, Rebecca Devdas, a resident of Jogupalya, was working as housekeeper at the church.
She was returning home on Monday night when an autorickshaw hit her. She sustained injuries in the head. Police have arrested the autorickshaw driver Althaf (24) and have seized the vehicle.
