The incident happened when victim Radha was standing in front of her house on 10th main road, A cross in Jayanagar giving instructions to BBMP sweepers who were cleaning the area.
The suspect laid his hand on Radha’s neck and snatched the chain. Radha held the chain tightly and cried for help. The suspect managed to take away a part of the chain as it broke into two pieces.
He ran away for few yards where another person was waiting on a bike. The suspect got on to the bike and the duo fled.
