Role models and motivators are the driving forces behind a person's success. To be that driving force and facilitate the efforts of several women achievers, an interaction with women mentors was organised at 'Global Mentoring Walk' in Cubbon Park on Saturday.
The walk was organised by Her Second Innings and Vital Voices Global Partnership, as a part of the International Women's Day celebrations.
Over 60 women took part in the walk and interacted with four mentors-Vandana Manoj of Matrimony.com, Soujanya Vishwanath, co-founder of Pink Ladder, Rekha B M, Head of talent acquisition at Sutures India, and Sudha Adarsh, director of Software Engineering at Oracle India. They discussed professional challenges and successes. The mentors helped the mentees create an action plan for their own ventures. After the walk, the mentors will stay in touch for six months through meetings with the mentee.
