“The rise in price of milk is significant. If we do not pass the hike to customers, we will lose our profits,” Radhakrishna Adiga, who owns Brahmin's Coffee Bar, told Deccan Herald.

Prashanth, a support staff member at a private company in the City, said, “I cannot think of going to hotels regularly. This hike has come as a jolt since the prices of other food commodities have already been hiked.”
Victor, a tea vendor at Cubbon Park said, “People used to flock my stall because of low prices. But now with the rise in price of milk, I have decided to substitute coffee and tea with lemon tea as it is healthy and also cost effective.”
