The city police on Friday arrested a 22-year-old man on the charge of raping a minor girl. The father of the victim is a labourer.
According to police, on Friday, Junaid, the suspect, barged into the house of the victim when she was alone. Her brother and sisters, who returned home after a while, found her lying unconscious.
She was taken to a nearby hospital where the doctors revealed that the girl had been sexually assaulted. Based on the victim's account, the police arrested Junaid.
