Youth from different walks of life gathered at the Brigade Road-Residency Road Junction on Saturday to create awareness among masses about the importance of segregation of waste at source and scientific disposal of garbage.

The event was organised by Youlitics, an organisation which is creating the base for a bigger role for youth in politics to create a healthy atmosphere in the country.

The organisation office-bearers made their presence felt for the first time in the City with their garbage clearance campaign, by drawing the attention through their strange attire which conveyed the message that garbage must be disposed of in a scientific and professional manner.

Youlitics president Naveed Pasha said the organisation has a strength of 700 people across India with 300 in Bangalore alone.

He said Youlitics will organise a similar event at Nayandahalli.
