A water tanker hit his bike and ran over him killing him on the spot opposite the Cathedral College on Richmond Road around 3.20 pm. His colleague Harsha, who was riding pillion, escaped with minor injuries. The police nabbed the driver, Venkatesh near Lalbagh Road and seized the tanker.
