A release issued by BIAL here, states that the airport aims to create a window of opportunity not only for airport employees but for all those transiting through the airport to give in either kind or cash, starting from as low as Re 1 during the week.
Contribution boxes have been put up at five locations within the airport and are filling up with books, toys, pencil boxes, school bags and cash from generous donors, according to BIAL. A blood donation camp, was also inaugurated by popular film actor Pooja Gandhi on the occasion.
