One person was killed in a head-on collision between two motorbikes at Kirangur village, in Srirangapatna taluk, on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Vasanth (47). The incident occurred when the deceased was turing his bike towards his house, when a bike coming from the opposite direction collided with him. Vasanth, who suffered serious injuries to the head, breathed his last while being taken to a hospital.
Rider of the other bike, Ravi, was also severely injured. He is being treated at a private hospital in Mysuru. Srirangapatna police have registered a case.
