Speaking to reporters at Hanagal, on his way to Bellary on Monday, Gowda said the image of the BJP took a beating due to the involvement of Reddy brothers in illegal mining.
“We have learnt a lesson from our mistake. We will now rectify ourselves and ensure good governance for the remaining tenure of the government,” Gowda said.
The chief minister said there was no question of inviting Sriramulu to join BJP again and that the Bellary voters would teach a ‘befitting lesson’ to the former health minister.
