Party workers gathered at K L V Circle and later led a procession to the Taluk Office. They submitted a memorandum to the Tahsildar urging the government to take necessary action against former Prime Minister for using abusive language against Yeddyurappa.

BJP leader B L Srinivas warned Deve Gowda to stop using abusive language against others. Taluk BJP President Dr Vishwanath said that Devegowda, who ruled the nation as a Prime Minister, does not know how to use words. It was his age which made him speak in abusive language. Zilla Panchayat former President Belli Prakash said that Deve Gowda has not only spoiled the image his party, but also made people of the state feel shame.

Leaders K H Shankar, Shivashankar, Somaprasad, Varadaraj, Krishnakumar, Suresh and Somesh were present.
