The visibility of all the ‘naked eye’ planets of the solar system scheduled to occur this week may not be entirely possible for the residents of Bangalore due to disturbance of lights, according to amateur astronomers.

Experts have said that at least three planets should be visible to the naked eye from February 23 to the second week of March. Such celestial sightings are often considered a big treat by observers across the globe and science enthusiasts.

“From February 23 to the second week of March, we have an opportunity to see all the naked eye planets in one night,” director of Nehru Planetarium in Mumbai, Arvind Paranjape, has said in a message to observers. “More important dates will be between February 23 to February 27,” Paranjape said.
