He said the health centre has been completed amidst controversies. Some political leaders had indulged in false propaganda that the land where health centre has come up belongs to a school.
Madikeri MLA M P Appacchuranjan said several schemes have been implemented for the welfare of minorities in the State.
DHO Dr Shivaram Nayak said Rs 15 lakh has been spent for the development of health sub centre. Junior Health Assistant will be available for service in the centre.
The doctor will visit the centre twice in a week.
The MLA also inaugurated Gram Panchayat hall on the occasion. MLC S G Medappa, ZP in-charge president S N Rajarao, Nodal Officer Dr Ravishankar, Dr Girish were present.
