BU, VTU exams postponed

All undergraduate and postgraduate exams of various universities that were scheduled for December 24 have been postponed due to the passing away of eminent poet and scholar, Dr G S Shivarudrappa, on Monday.

The undergraduate exams of medical, dental, AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy) and super-speciality courses under the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences scheduled for December 24 will be postponed till further orders, according to a circular issued by the university. “Students have been advised to visit the RGUHS website for further news,” said N S Ashok Kumar, registrar (evaluation), RGUHS.

All examinations for undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses under the Directorate of Correspondence Courses and Distance Education of Bangalore University have been postponed to December 27.   

A circular from the Visvevaraya Technological University (VTU) stated that the theory examination that was scheduled to be held on December 24 has been rescheduled to January 4, 2014.
