Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee president Dinesh Gundu Rao said on Saturday that the state Cabinet expansion would be held as per schedule, announced by coalition coordination committee chairman and former chief minister
Siddaramaiah on December 22.
He said steps were taken to avert disappointment among the leaders of the party due to the Cabinet expansion. “The JD(S)-Congress coalition will continue for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
A decision has already been taken in this regard. All differences, between workers of both the parties, will be ironed out soon. The results of the
Assembly polls, in five states, has given a boost to the Congress,” he said.
