Former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa has said that he cannot accept the challenge of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah as the latter is "highly corrupt" and has no "moral right" for a public debate.

Speaking to media persons here on Tuesday, Yeddyurappa said, "We have already prepared a charge sheet against the Congress-led state government, the chief minister and his ministers. It is being printed and will be circulated among the people shortly. The list of his irregularities, the scams and scandals speak for themselves".

"The chief minister and the Congress have now embraced Independent MLA Ashok Kheny, who has cheated both the government and the people, by grabbing and misusing thousands of acres of land. He is a corrupt businessman. It has been once again proved that the doors of the Congress are open to the corrupt, looters and daylight robbers. It has to be recalled that an accused was admitted into the party in Ballari," he said.

Continuing his tirade, he said that Siddaramaiah would be the last Congress chief minister of Karnataka. He has been dividing society on the lines of religion and caste. Let the Congress invite AICC president Rahul Gandhi to Mysuru and Chamarajanagar districts for public rallies. Wherever he goes, the Congress is sure to lose the polls,he said.

Yeddyurappa challenged Siddaramaiah to contest and win from Chamundeshwari Assembly constituency in Mysuru taluk. A strong candidate will be fielded by the BJP in Chamundeshwari constituency, he added.

Earlier, Yeddyurappa visited Hosamutt and sought the blessings of seer Chidananda Swami.
