As part of the car festival, the temple administration is organising a two-day ritual. Girija Kalyana will be held on November 13, followed by Mahabhisheka to deity of the temple on November 14 for Prakarathsava and special pooja.
Rathotsava
The Rathothsava would begin at the auspicious time at 11 am, chief priest H S Subrahmanya Vallish said.
The rathothsava would be held under the leadership of Somashekara Shivacharya of Pushpagiri.
The special chariot designed for the deity would be accompanied by folk artistes, the release added.
