The case was handed over to the CBI, following a complaint by lawyer T S Satyananda. The names of Minister Ambarish, MP C S Puttaraju, MLA Ramesh Bandisiddegowda and ex-MLA M Srinivas had figured in the complaint. Ambarish later sold the site to another person. He had even admitted to the fact.
