The firms against whom cases have been filed by investors and citizens include, Orange Properties, Country Club, Infoscience Consultants India, Tulasia Ideas and Frontier Group.
The Police Commissioner has asked the CCB to give a detailed report by July 10. Based on the report it will be decided whether to submit the cases to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) or to deal the cases themselves. The City Police Commissioner, Shankar Bidari has assured that top priority will be accorded to investors whose money is trapped in these companies, if these cases are proved right. Bidari said that the police would pursue the cheating cases and also auction the properties of these companies after deliberating with the judicial authorities.
The Commissioner has warned citizens to beware of new companies that assure of high returns on their
investments.
